How is (egay) cheap coil over and Springs better then Cut Springs? They're both are just as bouncey I'm with my Bud RD cut spring for now till you can save enough money for some good spring like Tein Springs or a Full Damper or just keep it Stock. I drift with my 240 on cut springs untill I'd upgrade. _________________ Keep Up or Fall Behind. |

| cut springs are whack......i'll go with coilovers because you can drop your car as low as you want and you can also raise it high if you plan on driving it in the winter.....and lowering springs isn't that bad either....i wouldn't recommend cut springs... |

| talkin about ebay coilovers, you won't be able to adjust the sleeves to raise the car after a while. the rings on the sleeves will rust up together, making it fairly impossible to raise the car. but that's just what happened to me and my brother though. don't know bout anyone else. |

Cut springs and cheapo ebay brand springs/coilovers are not the way to go.
The best and cheapest route you should take is buying a set of quality lowering springs. Get them with the spring rate you like, and the drop you want.
You don't want to throw on a set of coilover sleeves either, due to it not being able to thoroughly and efficiently support the strut travel.
Same goes with cut springs. You're modifying the springs efficiency. You're modifying the spring rate by cutting out the coils.
If you really want adjustable coilovers, the only coilovers I would go is to get a full coilover kit such as Tien, K-pro, Skunk-2, etc. etc.
I have the K-sport coilover kit in my 1G DSM and it's night and day compared to springs and normal coilovers. Trust me, I've owned so many Honda/Acura/Nissan/DSM with different strut/spring/coilover set up and this is by far the best.....and most expensive. _________________ Job: Honda Automotive Service Technician
